Cedar Creek in Hunting Season, Adams County, ND
Many hunters in the family are familiar with this bend in Cedar Creek and know the likelihood of pheasants hiding out in this rolling landscape. When I’ve walked this land, I “hunt” with my camera. I’m far too distracted with the stark beauty of the western Dakota landscape to follow the wildlife closely enough to be a successful hunter. I fire up my Nikon, silence the shutter, and tag along with some patient hunters hoping to grab some great compositions and lots of fresh chilly air.
